Let me please introduce
you the most important activities as well as the product range of our
company, TARAVIS Poultry and Food Industry Ltd., through our website.
On 21st September 2001, the owners of TARAVIS Ltd., namely GALLUS Ltd., FOOD
MASTER Ltd. And CSENG Ltd., decided to build a chicken processing factory
and to establish also the full integration in the frame of a green-field
investment.
This nearly 1bn Huf investment
included serious development of infrastucture and technology, which enables our
company to comply with the strictest Western European requirements assuring the
satisfaction of the business needs of both our export and domestic clients.

In the new factory with production facilities of about 3000 m2, in 2002
aproximately 5m chicken will be processed and trough continuous production
extension, from 2003 this figure will increase to 6m up to 8m chicken annually.
To meet the market reguirements, TARAVIS Ltd. as an interogator, has established
an „origin declaration and tracebility” system in co-operation with a famous
consulting firm as the first in the poultry industry in Hungary.
The declaration of origin and tracebility as well as their documentation include
the whole process of integration, namely placing chicks, growing broilers,
growing crops, procesing livestock and producing poultry meat.
The company’s product range, beyond the primarily processed chicken originating
from own integration, consist also of value added products branded under the
names of GRATIS and PREMIUM as well as marinated and „stirfry” semi ready meals
and popular quick frozen poultry hamburgers.
The excellent quality of our products is guaranteed by the MSZ EN ISO 9001: 2001
Quality Control and HACCP systems as well as by the competent and committed
workforce mostly with decades of professional experience.
